POSITION SUMMARY

The PSI Group in Williamsport MD, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes and distributor of packaging supplies, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Working Supervisor to join our team. Our Industrial Maintenance Working Supervisor is responsible overseeing all maintenance functions of our multi-shift operation and ensuring that all production equipment performs to its maximum efficiency and output. S
upport process improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to reduce downtime and increase throughput. Provides day to day guidance and direction to all maintenance staff; Partners with Maintenance Manager and Plant Manger on project completions. Oversees daily maintenance activities and special projects and tracking mechanical performance. Ensures employees are following safety standards to prevent injury to themselves and/or others. Schedules and assigns work to specific team members. Maintains inventory levels and orders needed components for repairs.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of lead/supervisory experience in a maintenance / facilities function.
  • Vocational school or Technical College certification or equivalent; State licensing as applicable.
  • Safety First Mentality.
  • Solid knowledge and experience working with Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems in an industrial setting.
  • Working with voltages up to 480.
  • Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record project management and scheduling and coordination of repairs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with assisting on ordering parts and supplies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2+ years’ experience (minimum) with welding and fabrication.
