POSITION SUMMARY

The PSI Group, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes, is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our Williamsport MD location. Our Fleet Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our tractors and trailers and perform other general maintenance duties. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • 5+ years of Fleet Maintenance experience.
  • Safety First Mentality.
  • Perform routine maintenance on trucks such as oil changes, brake repairs, lighting repairs, and trailer inspections
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to industrial trucks.
  • Replace parts, valves, bearings and gears as needed and repair vehicle cooling and heating systems.
  • Plans details of working procedure by determining replacement needs or new material required.
  • Assists production departments with loading and unloading of product and moving inventory via powered industrial truck.
  • Performs other miscellaneous maintenance and grounds work related tasks as necessary and assigned.
  • Ability to work the following core schedules and overtime as necessary:
    • 1st shift positions: Monday through Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm with periodic (required) overtime     
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work successfully in a fast paced environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
To be successful in this position, you must be willing to make a commitment of time and effort to become part of a team producing quality corrugated boxes in a safe, drug free environment. Experience in General Fleet Maintenance Mechanics is required.
