Packaging Services Industries, Inc., began production in 1976 and represents a family of privately owned businesses located in Maryland (MD) and Pennsylvania (PA). Since our inception, PSI has expanded to three plants, located in the Mid-Atlantic region and is staffed by over 350 employees. Our staff is composed of uniquely qualified corrugated box professionals that can help with every step of the custom cardboard packaging process. Our Structure Designers and Graphic Designers are trained to take any product, no matter how fragile or oddly shaped, and custom engineer high quality corrugated boxes to suit our customers' needs.

POSITION SUMMARY

The PSI Group in Williamsport MD, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes and distributor of packaging supplies, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safe operation of our production facilities.  You will be supervising machine operations and planning the production schedule for multiple machine centers in a busy, fast-paced plant environment.  You will supervise a team of machine operators and assistant machine operators.  This position is required to work paid overtime.  Good attendance is a must!  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Safety First Mentality.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of 5S and LEAN Manufacturing.
• Ability to manage and develop a team of skilled machine operators and assistant machine operators.  
• Ability to multi-task and manage several different projects simultaneously.
